Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Thank you for reviewing our 2017-2018 Annual Report. The cycle of serving our students and their families never ends and we have attempted to chronicle the past year so that we can remember the highlights and celebrate the accomplishments before they are lost to time and memory.

Our success as an organization can be challenging to discuss in a succinct manner. There are many moving parts: 750 students, 102  teachers/coaches/support staff, two school buildings, several busses, 18 Association churches, and thousands of alumni. We also measure our financial resources and have included the annual audited numbers in this report. You will see the chosen highlights of the past year in the pages to follow and it is my hope that they allow you to share in the joy of our mission.

I was thinking about the Parable of the Talents when composing this introduction.  The CLHSA is blessed with many resources and we are working to use them to further God’s kingdom through our work with young people. We are not allowing the resources to lie fallow; rather, we are constantly attempting to invest in the people and facilities as He leads us to do. The faithful use of the gifts many of you have provided is a fundamental part of the business of the CLHSA.
