Lutheran High School East (Cleveland Heights, OH) is seeking a long-term high school English instructor for the 2025-26 school year. Teacher would work April 13 through May 22, earning $175 a day. Teaching hours are 7:45 AM to 3:45 PM.

Applicants should hold a substitute license or greater. A potential candidate must also have the ability to fulfill the faculty expectations listed in detail below:

Discipline/Rules

• Maintain accurate attendance records
• School Dress Code enforcement 
• Hold students accountable for proper discipline inside and outside of class
• Communicate discipline issues appropriately with administration and parents

Classroom Responsibilities

• Execute lesson plans that challenge students individually on a daily basis
• Regularly grade assignments and return to students for feedback
• Clearly state classroom policies and expectations and follow through on them 

Communication Responsibilities

• Regularly maintain gradebook
• Communicate student concerns with Administration 
• Communicate student safety concerns with administration & appropriate state/governmental agencies
