OMNIA: A Fundraising Gala

Recap of OMNIA 2025

On Saturday, October 4, 2025, over 260 guests gathered for OMNIA, the CLHSA’s biennial fundraising gala. OMNIA supports the students, programs, and mission of our two schools: Lutheran East in Cleveland Heights and Lutheran West in Rocky River.

OMNIA was held at Lutheran West, where guests started the evening in the brand new courtyard, mingling and enjoying cocktails and appetizers.

During the seated dinner, Superintendent and CEO Chris Steinmann ’00 shared an update on the current state of our schools. He noted that with more than 1,100 students enrolled across Lutheran East and Lutheran West, we are serving more students than ever before. His remarks were accompanied by video testimonials from current students, who spoke about how their experiences at Lutheran East and Lutheran West have strengthened their relationships with Jesus and fostered a deep commitment to serving others. Heads of School Mr. Joel Bahr (Lutheran West) and Mr. Matt Luecke ‘06 (Lutheran East) had the honor of presenting the 2025 class of Distinguished Alumni, which included five inductees from each school. The Distinguished Alumni program recognizes graduates who have gone on to make notable impacts in their professions and/or communities.

Those alumni are, in alphabetical order by last name:

Bob Becker, Lutheran West Class of 1971
Mary Griglak LaRocco, Lutheran West Class of 2001
J. Stefan Holmes, Lutheran East Class of 1971
George Kapitzky, CPA, MBA, CPIM, Lutheran East Class of 1977

OMNIA offered a variety of ways to support the schools, including an exciting fundraising raffle (thanks to everyone who contributed items or services), a live auction, and the “Dollars for Scholars” segment of the evening, during which guests raised their paddles to make contributions directly to the schools.

The CLHSA, Lutheran East, and Lutheran West would like to sincerely thank all of this year’s event sponsors:
