A 2020 TOP WORKPLACE

The Cleveland Lutheran High School Association has been awarded a Top Workplaces 2020 honor by The Plain Dealer. The list is based solely on employee feedback through a third-party survey administered by employee engagement technology partner Energage, LLC. The anonymous survey uniquely measures 15 drivers of engaged cultures that are critical to the success of any organization, including alignment, execution, and connection, just to name a few.

“In times of great change, it is more important than ever to maintain a connection among employees,” said Eric Rubino, Energage CEO. “When you give your employees a voice, you come together to navigate challenges and shape your path forward based on real-time insights into what works best for your organization. The Top Workplaces program can be that positive outcome your company can rally around in the coming months to celebrate leadership and the importance of maintaining an employee-focused culture, even during challenging times.”

The Cleveland Lutheran High School Association (CLHSA) employs 110 individuals between its administrative office in Rocky River, Lutheran High School West in Rocky River, and Lutheran High School East in Cleveland Heights. The CLHSA’s mission is to provide an excellent secondary educational experience for students in a Christ-centered environment.

In 2019, the student enrollment at the two high schools combined totaled 865. Both high schools serve grades 9 through 12, with each school offering an Honors Academy, robust arts and athletic programs, and ample opportunity for student leadership, service, and faith development.

Superintendent and CEO Chris Steinmann, a 2000 graduate of Lutheran High School West, is humbled and proud to receive the Top Workplaces honor. Steinmann says, “The administration and employees of the Cleveland Lutheran High School Association are beyond thrilled to receive this exciting recognition. The data resulting from the Energage survey of our employees was overwhelmingly positive – as an administration, we are so grateful that the faculty and staff at both schools feel appreciated, fulfilled, and satisfied with their work. The positive environment felt by our employees certainly translates to our students and our school communities at large.”
