CLHSA Again Named 'Top Workplace'

June 26, 2022

The Cleveland Lutheran High School Association was recently awarded its second ‘Top Workplaces’ distinction by The Plain Dealer and Cleveland.com. This honor is based solely upon current employee feedback through a third-party survey administered by employee engagement company Energage, LLC. The anonymous survey, which was responded to by the CLHSA’s employees, uniquely measured 15 drivers of engaged workplace culture that are critical to the success of organizations, including company values, work-life balance, managerial support, and more.

The CLHSA was nominated for and earned its first ‘Top Workplaces’ distinction in 2020. The organization opted not to participate in the 2021 survey, due to the anomalies created by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Cleveland Lutheran High School Association employs 100+ employees between between its administrative office, Lutheran High School West in Rocky River, and Lutheran High School East in Cleveland Heights. At the onset of the 2022-2023 school year, the CLHSA will employ the most individuals in the history of the organization, with moderate growth due in part to the addition of a middle school (grades 6-8) at Lutheran West.

Superintendent and CEO of the Cleveland Lutheran High School Association, Chris Steinmann, a 2000 graduate of Lutheran West, was proud to learn that the organization had once again received a ‘Top Workplaces’ distinction.

Steinmann says, “After earning the distinction of ‘Top Workplace’ once again this year, we are humbled to know that our employees are satisfied and thriving in the work environment we provide. When our faculty and staff feel fulfilled and appreciated, every part of our school culture benefits—our students’ experience, the faith-based community we’ve built, and the future potential for our schools—it is all elevated.”
